A scam that I experienced.

I recently fell victim to an online art scam. A couple months ago I was reviewing one of my social media platforms and became aware of a message being sent to me through the platform form another “creator”. The message read ” I came across your page while scrolling and I think you would be perfect for a mural I am painting. With your permission, I would love to paint you. I would be happy to give you compensation.” I checked the profile and saw that they had many posts showing off beautiful paintings, so I agreed. After agreeing it occurred to me that I should check when the posts were uploaded, when I realized that the posts where all uploaded on the same day months prier, it became clear that the message was a scam. I encourage my readers to be safe while on the internet and be careful with scams.
